Hi dudez!
It's been a long time i've seen not you... and worked for the local gfx compo. I dunno anything about results yet, so let's see what do YOU think.
Well, here is an original 640x480 24-bit version for the compo (sorry people for long downloading time - 140Kb). Approx. 15 hours of work (3 days as far as i remember), done mainly with 1-pixel brush size (sort of pixel-by-pixel drawing) and some airbrushing. No plug-ins or filters here - only freehand.
If you getting interesting about an idea of the image, i'll try to explain it later =). Btw, artwork title you can see in the subject field.

Thats a really nice picture, Leo.
Really colorful and cheerful. I like it.
Though I might work on her ear a bit more. It kind of seems like it might be moving away from the head too much.

moot point... ear lobe. Looks kinda fuxxored... round it off. Unless you're working with a model or pic with attached ear lobes, then I bow down

ooh, damn, forgot to praise the pic. LOVE the vibrant colours. grass is great, and I like the sunlight streaming through the leafy foilage.. nice touch. Love the transparancy of the pixie's wings, plus it's reflection on the shoulder pad. Great face... you managed to capture good skin colour and shading, without making her appear plastic or going to extremes with shading and highlighting....

love the fairy and the shiny armour... its such a happy picture tho hehe, she reminds me of the girl espy from the tenth comic... cept shes more realistic and pinky.... hehe pretty me likes, agreed tho the ear is weird, but hey no ones perfect right? maybe shes an ALIEN WITH WEIRD EARS!
