100% Painter IX
For my studio art class. The assignment was just to do three pieces on a theme. Mine is a little cliche' to say the least, but I'm having fun with it. This is the first piece.
This is my first true foray into trying to use lots of textures. I'm very inexperienced with it so any advice in that area would be great.
I truly with I could've made the city in the background gloom better than it turned out. I also tried to give the things in my foreground depth, but I know they could've been less flat.
Any and all crits are more than welcome, thanks!
PS. Almost forgot... all overpaints welcome

Sorry, I'll try to fix that immediately.
Edit: Done...and after turning it in I realized that a lot of the right side was useless...so i cropped some of that junk off. |
