First attempt at anything in a few months... Hopefully I'll get the wheels turning again soon, as this was a real struggle and I've been completely mentally-blocked for far too long.

nice brushwork tinusch, but i think you need to focus more on the edges, lots of them are very sharp.

try to find some info from greg pro, he has written some really informative and easy-to-understand stuff about edges.

the nose needs some shadow as well Smile

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I know about the lost edges and the soft edges... The problem was that I did this all on one layer before adding a background, so I ended up just magic wanding them onto a background - hence the hard outlines. I definitely could have given it more effort, but I just wasn't happy with how this one looked and wanted to hang it up. As for the nose.. It looks right to me now, maybe it would look better with more shadowing on the underside but it looks good enough to me as is to not justify going back in and tampering, especially considering this one's not really of much interest to me anymore. But thanks a ton for the comments, I need all the guidance I can get to put me back on track.

Or focus not. The edges are too "intent" - too focused. Focus not - let go of them.

With the edges already mentioned to death I guess all I can say is that I like the pig. It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling deep inside my heart.
