Hi here's a painting that I've been working on for my new art book "Creature Sketches". It's about a mysterious Black Swordsman that is battling a monster.

You posted this image in another thread. It was my fave in that thread, and it's my fave in this one too. 
I look forward to seeing what you do with it. Whatever you do, don't lose whatever it is that makes the creature work so well.

Its really surprising your attention to detail Digital_Bobert in the time span that you do your drawings. I think you have a very perfected style.
Do you just use Photoshop or are there other mediums you use?

Immortal_Souls - Lately I've been using strictly Photoshop because I've been teaching Photoshop classes.

| How do you get the textures all to work so well? Im quite new and dont know much. Do you get textures then experiment with different layer styles and stuff? How many layers do you have for something like that btw? |

mou53m4t - It's a combination of applying textures and knowing how light works on forms.
