He may not look like he is good at it, but there are times when he is thinking, slowly maybe but he is getting there.

Done in Open Canvas 1 and Photoshop 5 - about 8 hours of work.

His body looks a bit flat but the hands are soo well done!

He seems to peer? (if this is the right word for it)

At first glance it's a nice and interesting painting. Half a second later when I noticed the hands I was even more impressed! There's something about the proportions in the face that I don't like, but since you are obviously very skilled I guess that must have been intended. Very good work!
