Google just release a free version of SketchUp. The pro version costs $500.
There are limitations on the free version, like you cant export the models to another format and the images you can get are limited to your screen size.
Its very easy to use! Just try the tutorial that pops up when you run it.
I might actually have a use for it. Doing simple 3D house models for jobs were the customer wont be getting a $2000 Lightwave render. Depends if the architect I work with likes the look of SketchUp.

The fireplace is in the garage so that the cars can make sweet love down by the fire. Or I just wanted to add a chimney to see how to do it |
