[Trip Diggler]

Hello everybody! This is my first post here...
So if you're wondering if I work for some game company of film production studio...I'm f****** unemployed! But I do some graphic/illustration freelancing at times. And who knows in the future.
This here is a small concept for a personal story which is kind of fantasy and surreal. It's called The Way Thomas Lives.



Please do critique and say what you think, I've seen some amazing stuff in here, really technically amazing, but keep in mind this isn't supposed to be that exploit of technicality. Just a little funky story

Really nice. Some excellent shape and textural qualities to your work. Your colour is well handled too. My eyes search for a focal point though, and I can't seem to find one in particular. It took me a while to see the cat, which is probably the main reason I had this problem. In the context of a series of illustrations this wouldn't be a problem at all as the cat would be a familiar shape to the viewer.

I love the character and style of it. Very nice work.

Thank you dude, really the kind of comment I was hoping to get. What you say about the focal point is true, and it's interesting since the cat is the first thing I have drawn and where the idea started. It is a serie of illustrations indeed, whereas the cat would be the main thing in the illustration right before this. Still tring to draw some more attention to him in this one wouldn't be a bad idea.

Love the colors/texture. Great looking overall. Some odd compositional choices but I think they might be related to the purpose of the illustration.
