Hey, the other night I did an oil painting with the oils with the impasto depth turned on. Now I'm trying to do something else and whenever I put anything on (I'm trying to use acrylics) it automatically toggles impasto depth. I can turn it off (via pressing the little blue star button), but as soon as I paint the next stroke it turns the impasto depth on again.
How can I make it turn off and stuff off until I want it back? |

Impasto lighting and depth is automatically enabled whenever you paint with an Impasto variant or another brush variant for which the Draw to: option is set to either Depth or Color and Depth.
If that's what's happening, go to the Brush Controls' Impasto palette and change the Draw to: option to Color. That, of course, only controls the brush variant that's currently selected.
