Figured I'd post my latest design, I interact a bit on the forum but hardly ever post anything as I only really do design work not illustration / art. This is for an open source VJ software, who are looking for a logo and splash screen. Critique and comments are most welcome.
Edit: Fixed visibility of 'TransZendent' text. Hope it looks better now? Also adjusted the size of the logo echo. Which do you prefer?

oooooo, shiny....
I mean, erm yes, i like it, its a little difficult to read the text in the corner though, and the 'TransZendent:' bit doesnt seem to stand out as much as the rest of the text underneath the logo, nothing major, just a bit distracting to me. _________________ Earth under attack by paper mache aliens; world leaders plead - 'Save us! Yes, your totally right... the TransZendent does fall back a bit, I'll fix that. The text in the corner is just a watermark. |

Yes... nicely done, but I think the echo or chadow is too large. Believe it would work better if it were smaller... _________________ HonePie.com

Thx for your feedback everyone.
eyewoo: You may be right, I have given the echo resize a chance... what do you think? I'm almost convinced, but already too familiar with how it was. |

The smaller shadow is better. |

Because of the highlight at the top, it seems more like an echo rather than a shadow.
I tried playing with it for awhile and now feel no echo or shadow is the best... IMHO |
