Hello everyone. I just got my new Wacom graphics tablet and did my first drawing with it. It is a portrait of my husband. Opinions are welcome if anyone is so inclined.

Thanks

Hey, I like it!
You've got a background in traditional media, no?

Thanks!
Yes I have such a background. In my previous life (read, before having a computer) I painted in oils (and sketched, of course). But then I discovered the computer and computer graphics and the oils went into the closet.

(Wow! what a fast reply you gave!)

Nice !

I like the shadows, and the face anatomy is nice too. Your're husband is good-looking

Comments....not much actually, I just racted a "bit" on the shadows where the ear meets the cheek (not much though). Also, maybe the lips could be a juuust bit more toned down ?!? even though, maybe I'm wrong ?

Make that tablet burn, and keep on posting pictures Great work !

Joachim
