Chinasky (guess he is not registered on this board) and me did a painting together. So we exchanged the file via mail.

Here you can find the step by step:

And here is the finished painting - hope you enjoy. Smile

awesome, really cool to watch the progess. Thanks. The only thing that bugs me is his forehead, its too angular, the top of his skull is really flat. I would make it more spherical. Nevertheless really cool work

Very interesting... I know your work... do you have a website gallery address for Chinasky? I'd love to see his/her work as well.

Interesting process.

Technically solid, I like the color scheme. Somehow that bloke reminds me of Hellboy, it must be the hair and the red skintone.

crits:
His head looks a bit deformed (too high forehead, ear too high, the top of his head looks like its in wrong angle compared to rest) and maybe his fists are too large..

anyways, keep up, good to see something else than speedies on this forum!

it looks like a modern version of Durer's Four Apostles. Duracel = Durer Germany? Any connection? hehe..

I like how you render your works. Do you can tell how you usually start with values? because I think you understand values well while I have problem with this, yeah

I look for more pics from you ;)

Miko comments are very personal. I see nothing wrong with this. It is quite a character which I like. It actually exist individuals with such look, nothing the new. Finnish and German look very different though so it may to be a too much contrast for Mikko
