Hi all, I'd like to welcome everyone to take a look at my new personal website.

http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/

Since there is about to be a barrage of life events happening over the next 2 weeks i'm putting it up a day early since i will probably not get to it tomorrow night.

Let me know if there are any problems and i hope y'all like it!

for more information check this thread: http://forums.sijun.com/viewtopic.php?t=40097

Also because of the life events (getting married), i will be off and on over the next 2 week, but after everything settles down i'll be back to participate fully.

Well done! I like it - it's a very straightforward approach without over-design. Content is easy to find. Kudos!

thanks for the feedback! glad you all like it. Smile

I'm gonna post here about it in case the front page of my website didnt get enough readers:

If anyone can tell how come on the links page, the floating boxes with link descriptions don't work in Firefox. Also on the links page, in Firefox, the border around the section titles is super thick, i haven't been able to figure out these two problems, if you have an idea, please let me know i'd appreciate the help.

Any ideas?

The second problem is caused by the way you have a paragraph inside a div inside a td:

Code:
<td height="20">
   <div align="center">
      <p>
         ...header...
      </p>
   </div>
</td>

The div and p blocks really don't serve any purpose here. If you remove the <p> and </p> tags it'll work, and if you remove the div too you can put the align in the td.

awesome thanks Smile i updated it and that fixed the second problem!

I used adobe golive for all this , if that helps troubleshoot the other problem.

The other problem is a javascript thing, and much more difficult to solve.

If you used a packaged solution for it then it's a problem with that product and Mozilla. ie. Mozilla doesn't like the javascript method used to hide/show DIV blocks.

Best I can do on that one. :}
