Since the year 2005 is now complete, I thought that it wouldn't be such a bad idea to post some noteable works from the past year.
I know that its more animeish than what most people produce here, but regardless this has always been my favorite place to admire the talent present.
So without further adieu,
As for unfinished or unrefined art, click the thumbs below.

i think you are using too much dodge tool...instead of mixing allighter color for highlights, you are simply dodging it to cut corners...you arent learning how to blend and use colors effectively this way....try to work a bit more boldly because it appears that you barely take the time to render your images...try to work in some of those outlines also rather than simply leaving them as they are...keep postin _________________ www.andresguzman.com

The only image that I ended up really using the dodge tool in was the first one, I rarely ever use dodge/burn or multiply. However, I have always had trouble with lighting and shading in color.
The one thing that was bothering me was that I really dont feel like there is anything special about the images. That they are void of emotion and expression.
I rarely spend much time on an image either, but I am hoping that changes here soon now that I have a more loose schedule.
Thank you for your thoughts, its greatly appreciated. I will keep it all in mind.
And I am hoping to do more posting with this year~ _________________

Well what I think he means is the way you are coloring now is too cloudlike "like making a mist with the dodge and burntool". So try to dra the coloring into it and not be to randomlike with the soft photoshop brushes........ _________________ http://www.aycecards.com |

Ah, yeah, with all those works I generally stuck to soft brushes.
I am going to break away from doing that from now on then.
Thanks! _________________
