This one's called Samurai Waterfalls. I made an earlier version last year

Heres the one I made a year ago

I worked extremly hard on this one, and I am proud of my progress throughout this year. I an excided to see just how much better i'll be by this time next year if I can come this far. I Thank GOD for giving me this gift, and I share it with you guys. Let me know what you think.

I'd like to echo the others' statement - great job on that piece! I especially like the face in the rock.

Very good you have improved a lot. Not only in technique, but also in compositioning, setting a mood and coloring.

I wonder how good this will be in a year!

Wow, nice progress. Shows what some hard work and study can really do. Love the colours and the emphasised contrast you have against the really bright watefall. It has great atmosphere.

Good work!

Two crits: his fingers look flat (they don't go around the swords hilt properly). Also the waterfall looks a bit too bright to me, I would prefer a little more "calm" value so it would be more pleasant to look at.

Just nitpicking though, you've made awesome progress whether you had ref or not. Keep up!

Looks great, I just wish you would have put more hair above his head instead of behind his head. It looks like the top of his head is flat Sad

Hes got freaking huge shoulder perspective too...
