Has anyone else noticed a strong electric current going trough your body when using a Intuous 2? My girlfriens just brushed my ear and got quite freaked out when there were sudden vibrations and almost a magnetic feel to my ear. I felt it, too. When I let go of the wacom it vanished and came back as soon as I touched it again. She put her hands on the Intuous and I felt the same vibrations on her skin, a very distinctive current. We tried the same thing with my old Wacom Graphire and we didn't feel anything odd. Neither with my mouse or my keyboard.
That really freaked me out and I wan't to know if anybody else had these same sensations. Try it out.
I won't be using my wacom untill I know it's safe.. |

You need someone else to touch you while your holding it to feel the current. But if you still don't then it's my Wacom and I'm not going to use it lest I want a bloody cancer. I'll try my Wacom tomorrow at school and see if it is my Intuous or just my computer (which I really doubt). |

Dude, come down down off the acid trip and let us know if it's still happening.

Gheheh yeah guys those sensations are now gone with all the pink rhinos.. But seriously I'm not being delusional. I think there is something broken in my wacom and the electricity is somehow leaking.. no, not like water.
And it's not just me. I told my friend to pick it up without telling him first and when I touched him he we both felt it. And no, it wasn't a sexual sensation.

That's definitely not normal. Are you wearing any metal rings or bracelets or anything? That's the only thing I can think of that might let you catch induced current from a tablet. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

And don't take a shower while using it.
It does sound like it has a short in it, and yes, you ARE feeling electric current, just millivolts, as the tablet doesn't need a full 110 to operate, that's why you don't have it plugged into the wall directly...
Stop using it until you get it repaired, though. You definitely are not doing your system hard drives any favors by having shorts pull on the power supply. It doesn't seem like one should affect the other, but trust me, they do. _________________ Life is short. Expect nothing, enjoy everything.
