For the architecturaly inclined. I think I am more conservative. Some of those buildings are very extreme. Taste differs though and I hope you enjoy some of them.

LOL!
Why you say that? I liked the HL2-looking futuristic buildings in the midst of old chapels.

The roof of the youth house lools like a skateboarding track! Except if you skate on it, you'll go straight into the water! LOL Good setup:

I personally liked this one (hl2 City 17 all the way, baby!)

And then i looked into the Cyber Art gallery..

haha! http://www.artdaily.com/section/photogallery/index.asp?int_sec=210&p=0&id=231&fid=0

Unfortunately, the rest of the gallery is not as fun, and this is what i call "the unholy of cg graphics" http://www.artdaily.com/section/photogallery/index.asp?int_sec=210&p=0&id=231&fid=19

And don't forget "the gates"....ummm "ahh look! the gates! we are happy! WEEEEE..." http://www.artdaily.com/section/photogallery/index.asp?int_sec=210&p=0&id=206&fid=4

Yeah some of those are very extreme Smile

Look at it this way. These guys spend almost their entire professional life making crappy buildings because the clients dont have extra millions to spend on a nice building. They go home at night and beat their brains out against a concrete wall because they are very creative people stuck in a noncreative job, due to other peoples finances.

Then one day someone hires them, they have lots of money and let the designer off the leash. Bam! those designers go nuts! Faced with no restrictions for the first time in their life they go a bit bonkers.

I can say I've never designed a building yet that I am proud of.
If someone hired me to design a Hobbit house I would be happy Smile
