Self-Portrait in Pumpkin, 2005

Halloween is my favorite holiday! Post pictures of your jack-o-weens, costumes, scary houses, spooky alleys, anything! Scary stories too!

Nice pumpkin.
Here we just don't celebrate Halloween, although it's gaining popularity.

Well Halloween around my house is fun, and we let our daughter (Katie) enjoy it to the hilt. After the round of trick or treating Monday, Katie wanted to take a picture to email to family, so . . . two cheap hardware store lights, a fog machine and Nikon D70 later, we had this (sorry, the typeface label was slapped on quickly; it's a bit harsh):

Dude - she LOVES Halloween (and other holidays too). You're reaction is common - a few family members were totally freaked out, which pleased Katie very much!

"I scared 'em Dad!" Smile

One of the greatest things about being a parent is getting to relive all this stuff over again; it's like getting a second chance at all the fun of being a kid.

haha, awesome! I've got a roll full of spooky photos waiting to be developed, but frankly, I'm nearly Halloweened out. I'm ready for nice, pretty fall foliage photos. Thanksgiving! Can't wait!

I don't like halloween because:

1. Little annoying kids running around and knocking on your door. Go away!!
2. Lame costumes.. i prefer a "Computer Game Day" when people would dress up as characters from their fav games! I'd be a bum from Kingpin.
3. Did i mention the annoying kids? Smile

1. Kids are cool- they can tell when you give them a little respect. Don't you remember?
2. Computer Game Day sounds even lamer. Give me my scary!
3. See #1

Just ribbin ya, man. Very Happy

Gort, that pic of your daughter is great!

I'll try to dig up the one a couple years ago of me and my nephew as Jedi and Padawan. Dorky, yes, but fun.
