Here is a picture I made (with Photoshop of course) - not finshed yet.
It reminds me of Mike LeRoy (from the Shadowman game). I wasn't inspired by the game, actually I created this pic before Shadowman was even planed.
What do you think of it? Do you have any tips for a background (and the skin - it's a litlle too plastic, isn't it?)???? |

nein, it aint plastic aight!
The skin is coole color, actially i didnt see any realistic looking skin around for a while (even on my drawings LOL!) but you should always draw skins in steps (not just pick a skin tone and put dodge/burn on it) liek.. put some ping, some yellow and so on
thats what i learned from AirBrush class, and ya know you can draw super realistic pictures with airbrush 7^##*^#*^$ later on

I like this image a lot...well done! Actually, I don't even think it needs a background. There's something about the blackness that lends well to the idea of barren emptiness, or something I imagine this guy to be going insane with loneliness...leave it as is! Or if you do add some kind b/g make sure it's subtle and extremely dark.
good stuff!
