Hello everyone, this is my first post here. I've been a lurker for about a week now, and figured now was as good a time as any to post. Anyway, This image I've been working on since yesterday on and off. I'm trying to get a little more dynamism in my poses and compositions., so I tried this one. Here's some in progress shots:











Any critiques would be great, specifically regarding the painting style, incl. the pallette and lighting, as well as obviously the pose and the composition.

Obviously, this is far from done, and ideally, I'd like to add a background as well. Hopefully I don't lose interest in the next couple of days.
