Hey,
I just wanted to make another piece for my 'portfolio'. So I decided to make one of my speedpaintings a finished piece.
Heres the speed-painting;
My goal is to make it look like a matte-painting, but not to use any picture material at all...
here's what i've done so far;

It's looking quite good, especially the background mountain has a nice feel to it. Such a low sun might make for stronger silhouettes though, maybe even some cast shadows from the spiky rocks. Then again, I'm not entirely sure where exactly the sun is here and how cloudy it is. |
