Awww, that pug is so cute! The nose looks a little flat....it's supposed to be wet so you can proably make it more shiny. Same for the tongue? I'm not as sure about that one. As for the deer, if they don't have wet noses then that looks really good to me. |

Very nice drawings. I agree about the specular shine on the wet nose and tongue. The only thing I would say about the deer is that there may be a little something awry with the foreshortening of the face. Maybe the jawline is too hard all the way back to the neck? Not sure. Otherwise nice stuff. Thanks for posting it up. _________________ All of it is real...

Thanks all.
You'd be surpise how un-moist the pug's nose/tongue are - she lets the tongue poke out all day and night and it gets dry >.< the nose is really only west on the rim near the opening on the nostril.
Here's the ref photo for the deer - i know it looks a bit strange...
The pug was done on 9x12 80lb paper, and the deer was done on 9x12 Bristol Smooth _________________ You lookin' at me? |
