This is an illustration of a type XI-B U-Cruiser that was done for a book over WW2 prototypes called "My Tank is Fight."
I worked in Photoshop CS for about a week to complete this.
Here's a link to the WIPs thread.

Any and all comments or critiques are welcome.
By the way, heres a link to the books website for anyone here who enjoys military stuff.

Realy nice image...som thoughts.
This crit has nothing do do with your drawing techniqes....whitch are nice. Realy nice.
The U-boat looks coolt. But there looks likes there is some thing big blue and shiny under the boat. Whete the explotion in the water is.
And the machine guns shoting almost looks like lasers. Coz the bullets light trail is so symetrical/parallell. Normaly you have light bullet in every five shots and that would give a bigger distance between the bullets light trails. Just a little thought. _________________ Beeing evil as usual... |

Asmodie, does that help any on the bullet tracers?
The glow under the water is the round from say, an armed merchant that the sub would be engaging. Since I chose to have this particular merchant firing non-armor piercing rounds, they explode when they hit the water too flat and too hard. |

nice water, nice ship.
Boat looks like it's quite long though I have no idea of how big u-boats really are. |

VERY great picture!
But I have to agree with Ranath, the back of the sub looks way too long. But I also have no idea how long they really are. But it would seem more natural to me if the part behind the tower-thingy was cut in half (at most), so that the entrance were more at the back instead of in the middle.
Maybe it even looks to be in like towards the front now. |
