Some of you might remember a post I put up in general discussion, the first one I made in fact, where I approached the subject on how to get those smooth shades using photoshop. The thread was called "Shading in photoshop and tablets" For those of you who are curious this is the link: http://forums.sijun.com/viewtopic.php?t=39396

It's been a few weeks since this thread went up and I would like to thank B0b, sweetums, jfrancis, Omi-kun, Chruser, and eyewoo for posting there and everyone else involved! Smile Their comments really did help me and I used all the methods they described when doing these pictures you see below. So I proudly present the final results, I must say I am quite happy with them even though they might not be the best ever. I have one question though I would like to throw out to all interested! I worked on these for as long as I could and did everything I could think of to make them better yet the reason I put these here in work in progress is, well, are they ready? Can I do anything more here, that is besides putting in a background I mean? Please comment people it really means alot to me! It fuels me to do more!

Oh and I want to thank everyone for making me feel welcome here at Sijun! Smile

Dont make everything so smooth, only whats necessary. Use harder shading also to achieve contrast between them.
