My first book cover.
I don't know when the book will be out, and cannot release any information I know of it.
Commissioned art.

About 6-7 hours in Photoshop CS2

any comments?

matthew> thanks Smile. I appreciate the very kind words and support.
Misc> i was thinking of that, but then the water's really calm so I didn't think that much foam would develop on it. it's kind of like just a slow drowning Smile.
viag & eyewoo> thank you. I'm honored Smile

Looks very nice, I'm really impressed.
I like the subtle colors.
Just be sure to add some subtle noise to the image that goes to print to prevent the banding in the sky-gradient.

I'd like to be at this place. Wonderful, idyllic...
What's the name of the book? Or is this also top secret?

I really like that one annisahmad, lovely render and calm and a just a touch sinister.

What occurs to me though is that your signiture slightly interferes with the piece, it's just a bit too intrusive and a bit to close to the focal line.

Would it be a problem to move it to the other corner? Or would you like it to be on the cover?

scallywag> thanks. actually, the signature isn't on the cover. I put it on after I sent the .psd to the author. this is just there... as tradition Razz
