Gil Kane passed away this morning after a bout with cancer. Gil is well known for his work on the Green Lantern, and a slew of characters at Marvel. Fans of his will miss his elegant line and powerful form and anatomy.

The comics industry has lost yet another giant. May he rest up there with Jack and the other legends of the field.
