"They called him 'The Russian'. He was seven feet tall if he was an inch, with eyes a cold steel blue and the biggest damm'd fists you ever seen. Not much was known about The Russian's training, style, technique, for he studied under ancient Chinese masters in the highest Chinese mountains at the oldest Chinese temples. The only other morsel we got was that he was the damndest gangsta foo' ready to bust up suckaz (as he put it), and not like that weren't about to do us any good. The fight, though you shouldn't call it that, was over 'fore the bell stopped shaking. There was The Russian standing in the corner, 400 pounds of bristling power, eyes staring down his opponent into a pile of custard, and the bell rang, and it was over. The poor fellow never saw it comin', course neither did any one of us in the audience. The Russian cast him a long, hard SNEER as he lie prostrate on the mat, and he turned and lef'. We never saw him affer that, and I'll be damm'd if every single one of us weren't the gladder for it." _________________ QED, sort of. |

Kick some ass Shizo. You're the only one on the board that actually can kick some ass, so have that in mind when tearin' up the place. You'll be kicking ass for all us artistic nerd with girly arms.

How was your tournament? Your pics look fantastic! My last roommate trains in Philipino stick fighting. He'd come back from the dojo and kick my ass for a couple of hours giving me a half speed demo of the stuff he was learning. I don't have as many aches and pains since I moved. |

Mooooooo! It's not October yet!
My training is going well. I went back to my crazy sparring dojo, and got my ass beat up thoroughly. I also started going to a gymnastics gym, and learning all kinds of crazy salto mortale.. It's rare that people train in both, fighting and gymnastics/acrobatics, but i wanna do both. |

I didn't watch that movie yet, and i didn't know who he was.. But now i do, cool guy!
It's funny you should mention fireballs and ripping things out of people.. Because in China i actually trained with people who wanted to do just that. One guy would "gather Chi" in hopes of one day releasing it in the form of energy-fire. And another guy was tearing the bark off of trees - he said he wanted to go home at his farm and rip a heart out of a pig. Poor piggy! lol
Oh.. and another guy came to our school and said that he wanted to become a real Ninja! I've heard "i wanna become a real Shaolin Monk" but a Ninja... So we told him that he's in a wrong country. hehe |

Haha, I've heard some shaolin guys talking about chi blasts here, Shizo. They all worship Dragonball Z and are convinced that they can power up to Super Saiyan level, or whatever.
I've even sat through a video about some Chi master who could harness energy and set newspapers on fire. Seems like a pretty useless trick compared to just, oh, I don't know know, KICKING ASS. _________________ QED, sort of. |
