Hey I am new to these forums, and to get things off on the right foot I figured I would offer my knowledge to anyone who needs info on computers/workstations.

I founded, and run a computer company that specializes in them (and gaming computers) and I just wanted to let you all know I AM MORE THEN HAPPY to answer any questions, or give any advice to anyone who wants it.

Anyway names Ben, nice yo meet you all. Some trouly awsome artists here.

how long u been in computers?

I have been in computers for over 10 years now and I have been in the gaming industry for just over 12 (game designer).

I am just getting into digital art myself, ie transfering over to a tablet. My expertise is really in building the computers.

I am actually a writer by trait, thats what I do for games all the creative writing and all the technical writing (no coding). But I have been an attempted artist ever since I was very young.

I am not great (yet) but everyday I get better :: ) I will post some stuff once I have it. My portfolio is currently in NY and I am in MA.

Yeh given I have never really applied for an art job, or done it for other then personal stuff I am pretty lax about the portfolio.

OK... so what would you recommend as a top system for a digital artist who is primarily involved with 2D artwork and not 3D?

Wow sorry for the late response. I have had an overflow of requests, and a web deisgner who bailed on me so things are hectic.

I will PM you if your still interested and we can even talk via phone, or whatever and I can help ya out.

I am back now though and hopeing to find a web designer as good as the last one heh.

nice we got someone working on it allready but I will keep ya in mind :: )

As for the 2d rig, I will post some stuff tonight or tommorow if I can.
