Hey guys,
This is my recent advancement in the layout of my page.. it's obviously just a general layout to see how the colours and space work, but I would appreciate anything you have to offer. I was shooting for a clean and "professional" look.. here ya go:
Thanks Guys!

I think it looks quite nice.
But I don't like that the section links (portfolio, about me etc) blends in to the black line above them (hard to explain ). Then again, it might be my res that's pulling my leg (1600x1200)
But I would have used some space between the text and lines.
And then I also think that the features menu would look nice with something semitransparent behind it. But again maybe it's just me who likes that kind of design .
If you want to have a look at what I have done, you can take a look at my page
Use IE 5.0+, or else it won't work properly (yeah, I know, but I'm going to make a new one soon any)
For inspiration look at: Design Archive, and follow the links in links section (duh! )
But still I think you got something really nice going there. Keep up the work!

--------------
I saw now that you had already made those changes already (good thing, that you changed the font on the sections links too. It was hard to read) I'm sorry.
But as I'm already here editing this mess I might as well give another opinion:
Maybe you should try to make some rounded corners at the top of the umh, top picture (you know what I mean ).
That wouldn't give it a much more smoother look, like the rest of the graphics.
