I'm still going to change the character stance (and give him a place to stand) then detail the silo, but I'm getting ready to call this done.

Whoa... i'm not sure if it's just my monitor but it's very hard for me to make out the image. It looks very dark and I can't see whats going on in it. Does anyone else have that problem?

Ya, my new flatpanel is really bright, does anyone else have problems seeing the painting?

If I set my moniter to blindingly bright, then yeah, I can see it better. Even then its still a dark image though, so I think I a lot of clarity/deatils is/are lost due to that.

hehe serious need of calibration. I see 80% pitch black with a white stripe on it and hints of some dark greenish/greyish lines. Impossible to even guess what the image is supposed to be and I have a very vivid imagination Smile

I think This is looking really cool but the light on the left side looks a bit faint and fuzzy. The Arm reaching up on the person looks a bit long compared to the legs. and the legs don't look quite right.. at that stance it appears the person would be taking a dive into the hole.

But i love the concept! Keep at it.. it's shaping up nicely!

Maybe if you lit the mech body outwards back towards the rear from the lightsource, you wouldnt lose that cool 'in the dark thing' going on, but it would be somewhat easier to see Smile
