I'm trying to set up a little gallery for my work, and I'm trying to find some decent software that I can use. I *don't* want anything as overladen with features as Gallery (http://gallery.menalto.com), I've tried it before and I find the software breaks a lot.
Really all I want is to be able to upload all my pictures into a directory, along with captions, and then be able to display that information on my page. Simple thumbnails and albums might be nice, but simplicity and the ability to style the output with CSS is more important. If anyone knows of software that does this, or even knows tutorials on how to write code that would do it, I'd be really grateful. |

Possibly you might be interested in my PHP based moobad website builder. But only if you have a good understanding of how to write segments of HTML and CSS. The moobad system sets up a thumbnail/image framework within which to do that.
Besides being able to maintain and easily update by adding and removing images, the moobad system has extensive logging that daily counts how many hits have gone to each image.
Both my sig URLs are moobad sites and there are more examples on my moobad site at http://www.moobad.com/index.php?via=sijunMoo, which is also a moobad site itself. _________________ HonePie.com
