This forum is just what I've been looking for! I have some pictures here that I would love your feedback on. All of them are done in Photoshop with a wacom artpad. I know I still have a lot to learn, but hey, thats what I want your comments for! I've only been doing this to and from for a year or so. Anyway, constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. Of course I'll try to return the favor...
The first one is the cover of a swedish rpg e-zine. The second one is the cover of a roleplaying-game (again, swedish), and the third one I did just for fun at a party.

Tanks! 8)
And yeah, good point. The buildings are way too sharp and don't really look like they're in the background. I was thinking about doing mist above the water and about halfway up among the buildings, but the deadline was getting dangerously closer... |

cool stuff.
For an even better effect, try to blend the colors and the black lines, by smudging them and then cleaning up and sharpening the edges with the paintbrush.
I like that last one, it's wicked. |

Nah, I like the black lines a lot. It gives it a very stylized cartoon look. I really like that kind of stuff. I definetely like the 2nd pic the most. Great work!

I wouldn't blur the background... Maybe darken or desaturate it a little. |

Very refreshing! (I sound like a commerical for Trident) :P
It's nice to see a new style once in a while, and this is definitely a style I like Keep up the good work!
