Here's a painting-in-progress (2 days work). I'm going to change a lot of things, but I want an outside opinion in case I've missed some part that looks wonky.
What looks good? What looks bad/strange?

The face & hair look great the shoulder on the same side as the ear is a little small for the size of the head you should make it extend out a "little" more this will show better proportion ..
Oh I'm not a big fan of the pink fire ... But if it was say... REAL Fire /.... maybe CG fire it would make your drawing stand out HEAPS and bring the whole work to life...
Also if you could go around the outline of her shirt with a darker colour that could look a little better it doesnt mix to well with the fire so outlining it should fix that.
Remember these are just options i dont recommend you take any of them unless you also agree these change's need to be made.
Its your drawing not mine. Keep up the good work ^_^ |

Looks really cool... I think the shirt portion could be more realistic IMO, but I don't know if unrealism was the intention there. _________________ GC

Love the red iris and purple lipstick. Have you been checking out Natalie Portman? I suspect her right eyebrow is a bit high for this perspective. The eyes, nose, cheeks and forehead seem cohesive. Hilights on forehead, nose, and chin are consistent I think. Beautiful work. Very nice. _________________ http://www.geocities.com/abramson.geo
