Haven't posted here in an extremely long time, but anyways.
This was an illo I did for a class recently. It's my first REAL environment piece, so hurrah for me! You should all try doing a 2.35:1 painting sometime.
Oh yeah, 97% OC and 3% Photoshop.
BIG AND CLEAR VERSION!!!

I really like it. Nice setting and atmosphere. However I think the moon is distracting to composition (and with all those clouds it'd be hard to see it so clearly) and also the horizon line seems wrong to me, doesn't look straight. _________________ "Ever forward, my darling wind." -Master Yuppa

Nice light&atmostphere and a good render.
I think you got a problem with those trees, they look strange on the side of that Van, they're great for the composition but they got a different lighting (at least to my eyes).
Great work. _________________ In case of supreme necessity use your mind.

The coloration of the sky is fantastic, but seems a bit supernatural. The sky would not dramaticly fade to darkness while the sun is still above the horizon unless you are caught in a forest fire or volcanic eruption. Sorry for my nitpick I really do think this is beautiful. _________________ http://prettydiff.com/ |

It kinda looks as though the clouds are infront of the mountains, As if you've put them on a layer abover the actual land. Also a house seems as though the clouds are covering the top of it. However I still really like it! |

i say
1) that orange glow is real nice, although it's glowing too much on the road?
2) the shine out of the windows should be coloured a bit blue from the moonlight? it seems too much attentiontaking, or maybe that's the point, or maybe i need to re-affirm that lights in the moonlight really take a lot of attention. _________________ red alert fogger5:04 snake4:43 22khzmono |
