Hiya folks!

Some c&c would be just super. Reference: Gil Elvrens Cold Feet (Cold Front) (1958) The funniest pin-up picture ever. Not much of my own here, but its a blast to paint from ref. Smile The skirt is a bit in progress but otherwise the pic is quite finished. Or finished enough at least.

Heres close up...

...and progress pics:

Thanks bye! Smile

I think it looks very good, especially the clothing, but I miss a more detailed surrounding... maybe try a warmer background?

I normally don't enjoy the style, well I do like the 50s but not so sure about pinup art. I gotta admit this one is funny.

I like it, it's funny in a sexy way. =)
Far better than anything I could pull off. But special thanks for posting the early sketch. Most of my pitiful attempts start out very similar, so at least I know now that from there, good things can emerge.

Man, I know the feeling! It usually takes too many hours before something decent is coming out. Smile but thats why I allways try to decide (before even starting out) what Im going to or what I wanna do, cos its too hard to believe to the result if you dont know what your doing.

Thanks again for comments!

In my opinion, the way the foot is cut off at the bottom of the image is awkward. It leaves you with the impression that her whole leg is being sucked off the page by some kind of sexually depraved vacuum cleaner. Her toes look like they should be either in a lot of pain, or popping out of her shoe.

Also her right hand looks a bit small...maybe the elbow merges with the forearm too much?

I think you did a good job on the chest and around the neck.

Nice pic. The values and colors are very vibrant. You have managed to replicate the coloring on her legs very well from the reference pic.

A few very minor improvements would come to mind though. Size of the hands was one issue, but also the proportion of her right hand is a bit off. The fingers start too close to the wrist. The front foots back part (near achilles tendon) needs to come out more I think. Also her hair should leave a stronger cast shadow on her head.

One thing I don't really understand is how her ribcage goes under the clothes. When I'm trying to figure it out I think that it has to be wrong, but
overall she looks very natural. Maybe it's a good illusion or I might be also wrong.
