Go on, you know you wanna
ahem
Anyway, I just updated everything for the first time in a while. Particularly the gallery, some new stuff to go along with the old crap that's mostly there :P
I haven't pimped it here before, so get on over and check out the wacky design.
Give it hell (i'll bet half the things people complain about in the design are things I like, but hey...)

Haha! lol!
I went to your site. It was pretty cool
I especially liked your pic of that gal with all wires coming out of her head. That was great! Did you shade every wire individually? That would have taken a while!
Your pics were really cool, you have a very original surrealistic style

Thanks Jase. At least someone went.
yeah the shodan pic was all done by hand. It's not quite the masterpiece i imagined though (is anything ever?)
Some of those cables a conflicting with the perspective by the way they lie on the chest (among other things)
I think the over all effect is ok though |

Nice homepage, Muzman. I appreciate the uniqueness you've taken with the design. It's nice to see someone try something a little different. I can only hope my homepage turns out that way.
Good work.

Heh, I like your 3D stuf better.
Nice layout. But the... background is REALLY pixelated like big boxes...
Is that vector grafic? |

I actually like the bbackground. It is different and fast loading. I'm assuming you have a smaller picture and for each page, it is expanded massively filling up the background. If this is what you did, it is interesting and cool. I never thought of doing that.
Cool shit man, keep it up.

That S.H.O.D.A.N pic is great, but the right hand is weird.Iits kinda awkward, sorta like a midget's arm or something. Maybe you should try to fix that. Overall its good

Hey thanks all
Kaoz, I'm guessing you mean the left hand? the one closest to the "camera"? Well, either way that's the one that bugs me the most. I think the hands are fine in themselves, but they don't sit too well with the rest. (which is what you're saying, I think) Serves me right for doing things in bits and gluing them together anyway. General laziness and frustration helps too. hehe!
About the site in general; I really started to like the random effect you can get when you jpeg compress something too much. It's much cooler than plain pixelation. (It's not everyone's cup of tea though) I found the best way to do it was to zoom in on stuff that had been jpegged a lot. And as Ben spotted, the way to do that in a web page is to get a real small pic (about 100x70) and stretch it. Easy on the bandwidth too.
Thanks for the hits folks |
