I just wanted to share this latest of ideas in my Millenium Falcon obsessed mind.
Crits on the concept rather that the painting would be appreciated since it's the idea witch is important to me in this instance. Thanks.
I painted on top of this image: http://www.no-go.dk/falcon-build2.jpg
-"It'll do 88 past lightpeed"
-"It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 30 years"
-"George Lucas? Where we're going we won't NEED George Lucas!"
You get the picture.....

Crits on the concept? its the falcon, and its in a loading dock or landing area whatever the proper thing to call it im not sure, I think the image is well excecuted if not terribly original but I do like the slight adjustments you made to the design in comparison to the photo you painted over. _________________ Idolize no one, else you place yourself beneath them. |

Ok, perhaps I totally screwed this up.
Delorean Time Machine meets Millenium Falcon.
If this isn't obvious, either you guys aren't as fixated on eighties scifi adventure flicks as me
Or else I'm did a bad job of visualizing it.
Thanks for the crits guys :

Thanks Mark. Yeah, it needs a lot more work if it where to become a good drawing. It's just a concept for now.
deadguy: Yeah, I know, I planned on placing it where the top lasercannon was. But never got around to it. Good call.

Nice concept! Although I have some issues with the cockpit module.
And I must say I really miss the "gritty-ness" of the original falcon |

Nice concept but she looks too clean. Well done nonetheless! _________________ - Tom Carter

Okok, hehe.
But it would only be appropriate to add the grittiness of the DeLorean to it. The point was to do a clean, aluminium Falcon/DeLorean. Therefore it can't be too cluttered, otherwise it would just be a regular falcon, just out of alu.
I can't defend my idea anymore without becoming a whining bastard so I won't
I guess it's treading dangerous ground, meddling with the Falcon AND the DeLorean timemachine in one go.
Thanks for your input guys. I'm gonna let this one go.

Love the idea.
It's the scale of the detailing that feels weird to me. It's this huge ship, but the size of the detailing, and just the amount of detailing makes it look like a toy. Like something that has been created out of a block of steal, filed down into this shape. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |
