Hey all, this is my first time on this forum. This is a picture I did for the Grimm's fairy tale, "The Frog King." It was done entirely in Painter8. Let me know what you think.
and some details:

I love everything exept the expression on the girls face.... she looks ugly. ![Confused](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) _________________ Some people are bad. That is because many people are better. |

thats a cool picture! really storytelling and nicely rendered
the only critiques I would have, is that I don't like girls face, as from closeup she looks ok (nice face variation hehe) but from full picture she looks a bit unpreatty for me, its quite subjective opinion.
furthermore, I would give a little bit less contrast for the deepers plans of the picture, just to make it lil more 3d
anyway, keep a good work! |

yep...girls face...definately...for me though its not so much her expression...i kinda like it--somewhat disgusted in a very curious and admiring way...funny...its mostly the way the eyes and the lighting was rendered...it definately stuck out though...maybe if you made some of the eye-ball visible _________________ www.andresguzman.com

Really nice, the style remains me about The Hildenbrandt Brothers, but that's only good, they did some really great paintings for Lord of the Rings ages ago.
Your painting has a great felling of shapes and form. Would really nice to see your process and your brushes (and filters?)
Anyway, welcome... _________________ Yeah man but it's a dry heat... |

Outstanding work. A refreshing since rare style for a digital art board, and sooo well done. All these leaves and the grass alone must have taken hours...
Don't know what's supposed to be wrong with the face, I think it's spot on. All just very very good! More please! =) _________________ "Look...!" protested Arthur.
