Hey guys, i'm new to this forum, so since i just joined, i'm posting up one of my pics.
I did this for an art-history project (on Ancient Egypt). This was pencilled/inked on paper, and then digitally colored. Tell me what u think... Thnx

| I like that picture, i like the style, and pretty nice coloring, but the fading at the bottom is kinda out of the place. but maybe its just me |

Yeah, kinda strange to see light fading at the bottom of this pic. I think if you look at 'Prince of Egypt', getting inspired, than draw a really cool thing. Um... how about making a good background for your pic?

It seems to me that you're trying to catch the "Liquid!" style, but there are some things completely off. The shading isn't that bad, but the figure lacks details and the lines aren't clear in some parts. You should have used a "real" background and not just some colorized clouds. And the shading going through the bottom of the pic is completely a thumb-down.

well, actually, to be honest, i never heard of the "liquid" style when i made this (about a 6-7 months ago.) but now that u mention it, it sorta does look like i was trying to use that style. anyway, thanks for the replies. hopefully i'll be putting up some more of my stuff.
