Jr:
You'd best seriously assess what you want to do with your machine. Your motives would best determine what machine to buy. Any type of graphics workstation, be it a Mac or PC, would have to have more muscle than a Mac Mini. The Mac Mini is Apple's marketing posture towards the low cost PC market with an attempt at luring general users (internet and email, mainly) to Apple.
I personally wouldn't consider a Mini for serious work. Just me. _________________ - Tom Carter

A mini for serious work would not be that great since it has a weak graphics card. |

I also think its not a graphics computer. Simply not strong enough on the cpu and gfx card side. I see the Mac mini as a perferct computer for surfing the web, emails, chatting, listening to music, watching movies, home bussines, playing some games and all those little privat things. In fact , it's a home computer and in that perhaps better than everything else. |

if you like the OS, and only hav $800 go for it
if you've used Winblows for the past 4-5 years, spend a few more bucks on a kick ass system ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |
