Wow - it took you this long? Well if it's from a journalistic publication, then it must be true. Still no substantiation . . . no real proof here. For all we know the writer is as anti-American as others in the UK, France, Germany, etc. etc. and can slant, skew, distort whatever he wants. It goes both ways, too. This article - to me - constitutes nothing.

Stacy, why don't you give a rest? Take it somewhere else. You're actions are somewhat antagonistic. You say you don't want to engage in a pissing match, so give it a rest. Seriously. Take this stuff somewhere else - there are lots of places to openly discuss this stuff.

Look at your last post. Look at other posts. Do you see anything there? All you will see is nothing more than a flamed pissing match, but you don't want to engage in a pissing match; you just want to start them and then bail.

The Guardian is a very left-wing liberal UK paper. I think the Herald is also similar.

You'd probably find the opposite conclusions in either The Daily Telegraph or The Sunday Times.

(on a sidenote, The Guardian is called The Grauniad in several UK satirical publications due to it's notoriously bad spelling and editoral proofreading)

Well, compared to how active this place used to be, at least stacy is posting something, even if it is antagonistic or whatever.

If Stacy's "pot stirring," confrontational threads are the only positive justification for this Forum, then Djah had better just pull the plug on the joint now, and let it fade into fondly remembered Internet history. Stacy can then go to LiveJournal and expound upon his conspiracy theories ad nauseum.

The "oldsters" remember when Sijun was the place to be. Although the glory has faded, I would deeply hope that this place hasn't deteriorated to the point of merely being a "soap box" for the agitators to practice their craft. Random musings is one thing. Repeated attempts to instigate discontent is another. The keyword here is repeated.
Edit: I think discontent should be of consideration also, though.

You already have a nice, roiling, discussion going in another thread, Stacy. Add your future political malcontent links in there, okay?

And others of you should make a little attempt to add some positive, motivational, fun, artistically thoughtful, or interactive content here, if you have any real interest in these Forums, past or present. This place definitely gets the Web award for minimalist forum design, but that's partially because the place is such a shell of it's former activity, as evidenced by this stupid thread.
