Just... what do you think about it... ^^ I want to have a realistic final.
Thanks!

I like it, very nice :)
quick input:
maybe some shafts of light (but not gratuitous) would help show where the light was coming from? (and add to that 'barn'ish atmosphere) Not clear where eactly all that light is coming from.
Be nice to be able to make out some ankle/foot. |

I like it overall a whole lot, but there are a bunch of little things, and I thought it would be quicker to do a paintover, hope that's no problem.
main points:
i think the dress would go into a bright, intense read, rather than into orange and yellow.
Lots of reflected red light with that brilliant illuminated canopy there.
Overexposed white doesn't come off right with me, i think because other levels in the picture can't justify it. (I have no idea what I am talking about.)
guessed where the light could be coming from and gave her a shadow.
tried to draw attention to head a litte more with darker hair against bright dusty air behind her.
found the colour palette & atmosphere a little harsh, comes off a little 'studio shot' ish, tried get it more 'flemenco'.
might sound harsh with all that criticism, but it's just becuase I think the pic is great and could be even better and I want to help!
Another thing which could be quite nice, is to play up very diffuse shadows on the walls from the light on the ground, behind the people up stairs and whatnot, but that's beyond me on this one, and would need to be very stubtle.

I personally like the picture -- your changes are quite nice capt fred. makes the face area look more seductive
I'm guessing that overly white area in the picture was perhaps clouds of dust being kicked up? Are you going for a more dynamic picture by any chance?
If so, it might help if you made the instrument players concentrate on their instruments more... perhaps head bowed down a bit?
As it stands now, it looks like they're all entrance by this girl, and not playing music, which i can understand
fantastic picture, hope my crits will help. _________________ AIM: EviLToYLeT |

The new lighting is great. Just repeating, the face looks much more seductive now. Some funky perspective happening on the balcony, but you probably know that... its a WIP afterall. I'd really love to see the silhouette working strongly, there are some great shapes and it'd be nice to see the lighting and edges between the arm and the background for example really strengthened. The atmosphere is looking really good. |
