i recently purchased an NEC/Mitsubishi dp2070sb...a beautiful 22" monitor and one of the best monitors i've ever seen. the only problem is that it has a slight geometry issue. the top of the screen is warped...as i move windows up it elongates the text vertically and make it quite unsightly. i've e-mail technical support about the issue and they told me to try adjusting the vertical linearity and the vertical linearity balance. i tried that and it kind of worked.
it's most pronounced at a resolution of 1600x1200...so i run the monitor at a resolution of 1792x1344 and it minimizes the effect...but not completely.
would anyone out there running the same monitor as i (who doesn't notice the same problem) care to share with me their geometry settings for the display. not just the vertical linearity/balance...but all of the settings?
i have the naviset software installed, my video card is an ATI Radeon 9600xt...and the monitor is running a resolution of 1792x1344 @ 85hz.
thanks
