Here are some of my custom textures. I use Corel Photopaint, but any app that lets you load a grayscale image as a paper or brush texture should be able to make use of them. Most are based on reference photos taken by myself and made (more or less) seamless, others are painted by hand. They are in GIF and TGA format, and come to about 2mb zipped. Click the preview image below to get the file:

Maybe somebody will find these useful.

If you've got any of your own custom nibs/textures/brush files you don't mind sharing, toss 'em up.

Sure thing, See. I don't use CS, but it's a lot more popular than Photopaint Smile

Maybe someone will find these useful, the secret behind Matthews Speedy painting.
This is the Photoshop 7 file so place it in this folder beneath, it will add to your already existing brushes :
("C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Brushes\Adobe Photoshop Only") and use the preset manager to load the brush set, think it should work, let me know if it doesn't.

*bad link deleted, look beneath instead|||||

have a nice day

Interesting secret... must be something quite extraordinary since the Matthew.abr brush set I dl'd only had one brush in it - a 65 px airbrush...??? I'm using CS... don't think that should matter...

What's the secret??? Smile

The secret is that the file is actually a trojan that lets Matthew take over your computer.

lol that was hilarious guys, I must have screwed up the export somehow so lol I own your computers now. Smile
ok this is the brush-set in abr format zipped, let me know if it works this time.
Same procedure as before, the unzipped file goes in this dir:
("C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Brushes\Adobe Photoshop Only") and use the preset manager to load the brush set.

///Right click and save target as
http://www.lensflares.net/Laston/Matthew2.zip

The above file contains the default brushes aswell along with my sampled on in the bottom of the file, this file beneath contains only the sampled brushes. again let me know if it still doesn't work.

///Right click and save target as
http://www.lensflares.net/Laston/Mattsample.zip

it should work now lol, see you guys.
