just got a new wacom tablet and can't figure out how to set the brush to pressure sensitivity in Photoshop. Anyone know? _________________ Katie

Click the "Brushes" tab on the top right of the screen and check the option called "Other Dynamics". Then, within that settings section, under "Opacity Jitter" click the dropdown menu. Click the "Pen Pressure" option and you're done. You can do the same thing for Size Jitter under "Shape Dynamics".

nope. Didn't make any difference. Lines still come out with 100% opacity no matter how hard or soft I press. _________________ Katie

how do I go into the driver?

From the start menu --> Programs --> Wacom tablet
There select the "add application to list".. actually I think the default should be All applications.
Sometimes when you start Photoshop, but have some other program active on top (mediaplayer etc) the PS fails to use the pressure. I remember having this feature in PS 7, not CS. Launch the program and let it load before clicking another windows. |
