I have an Aiptek 8000U tablet, but I'm not too fond of the stylus. I'd like to know if I can buy a different brand pen and have it work with my aiptek tablet. The wacom pens are so much thinner than the bulky aiptek one.
Also, if anyone has any new ideas about creating a pencil-paper like friction for tablets, I'd like to hear it. Odd that I just read about some enjoying a slicker surface...
Thanks for any help _________________ Self-pity and modesty get you nowhere |

forget Wacom Stylus, they're batteryless.. the reason yours is so bulky is probably the AAA battery in the pen ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

I doubt you will have any luck getting another brand pen to work.
I don't know about other tablets, but with a Wacom you can simply place a piece of paper on the tablet. Probably a way to go through tips faster, but it gives you a good texture feel. |
