Hey! I've been following this board for quite some time, but now I'm gonna start posting :P My name is Dave, I'm 16, I live in New Jersey, and I just got a Wacom 6x8 Intuos and I'm ready to roll. Here's my first pic done with the Wacom completely with Painter, just a half and hour sketch I did. Post some comments.

Looks nice, but I suggest drawing more than the eyeball and eyelids alone (the area surrounding it) and use a different shade (more orange/brown), it's a bit too yellow now. Futhermore, I'm missing the eyelashes.
If I have some time left this afternoon, I'll draw you an eye to show what I mean
Good luck! |

hehe. Thanks for the comments the funny thing is, I was doing the lashes and then all of the sudden my tablet wouldnt work w/ the airbrush in painter, so I did a click cleanup and didnt do the ashes or finish the pic . So I reinstalled painter and now it works. |

Yeah, it looks much better. I just think the lower eyelid is a bit... Well, the curvature is somewhat extreme.

Wow... Shane rules. Anyway, here's my
somewhat 'cartoony' eye. What I was trying to say is, that an eye comes out better when there's some 'face' surrounding it
