Hi, I have no idea how to color something digitally. I desperately want to learn, but it's going to be a long and expensive process (gotta buy PhotoShop and Painter, then learn how to use them). Anyway, I've noticed that some of you like to color other people's work, and I have this drawing I made a year ago that I always thought would be pretty cool if it were in color. So, if anyone is up to the challenge, I welcome you to color this and then post the results. I dunno...it looks like it might be a lot of work, but maybe someone would find this to be a fun project.

And just in case the drawing is a bit confusing...in the background there is a swirling vortex in the clouds and the ocean is pouring out of this vortex. Also, I always imagined the statue pieces on the far rocks to be white...but it's your call.

Try your luck at the "New Media Coloring Book vol 2" over at conceptart.org. Also look at how other people have coloured the images to learn one thing or two.

You can also try your hand with the GIMP which is a free, open-source, application that's nearly as good as Photoshop, I hear it also has support for graphic tablets.
