screw the world. because i cant make any good paintings. out of ideas... but im still trying to paint with nothing in my head.

You should try painting with paintbrushes.

anyone else get that feeling... the more you practice, the worse you seem to get.. and the better everyone else becomes... or maybe i just cant keep up

thanks, that makes a lot of sense to me. ... i always try new approaches, i copy other people's works, try to start drawings from different "angles"... but as people have told me time and time again, everything i do has a certain touch to it.. so i've got my personality into it.. but i think when you have something consistent like that, it constrains possibilities from an otherwise larger range of expression..

i've always thought that practice, no matter what it be, will always help in art. what do you mean exactly - what aspect of practice should i reconsider?
