I wonder if there's any dedicated graphic utility that converts relatively low resoultion images into much sharper high-resolution image. No, not Photoshop. Just a 'dedicated' utility.

Hi,

Take a look at Fred Miranda's page where he compares his utility, Stair Interpolation (SI) with Genuine Fractals and mentions a couple of other utilities that do what you're looking for:

Fred Miranda's Stair Interpolation (SI) Utility - Comparisons

Good luck!

Just on a side note, it's a pain in the ass when websites show comparison images in one vertical column. Even at a relatively high resolution, you have to scroll up and down to compare specific parts of an image. bah.

Also, this looks utility looks cool. Fine work, Jin.

Thanks, grumpy Impaler Wink

I'm pretty sure I've posted the link here a couple of times before over the past two or three years, but it's hard to remember everything when we see so much information passing before our eyes every day.

(It's cheap, too.)
