I have most of my layers set at normal, most of the time. For some of the lights I use brushes set at color dodge sometimes. I did this piece with Painter 9 and Photoshop CS, going back and forth. _________________

Very well done, although I do agree with seth1. Maybe you could make the pose a little more 'actiony', as you would say. Overall nice job, though. |

While the coloring job is very well done, I think the overall impression is more 'calm' because there is less of contrasting values in the colored version. I dont know if the pose is at fault, I think it's more of a odd angle, but the pencils has more movement in it, it feels a bit more chaotic, its apparent in the buildings in the background, while not very realistic, the white/black transitions make it more ...err.... 'vibrant' ?
edit: oh, okay, let me try again: in the pencil, the city looks more alive, in the colored version, the city in the background look like there is a power failure, and everybody is sleeping hope that helps _________________ "I'm not a shrimp, I'm a KING PRAWN !" -- Pepe.
